Part of the programme of the 4<sup>th</sup> BRICS Film Festival, the event features panels with big names from Brazilian, Russian, Indian, Chinese, and South African film, always followed by a debate with the audience. Simultaneous translation is available.</p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The event open to the public, free of charge, and participants can register in the first three days from 9:30 am to 1:00 pm. Coordinated by Professor Rafael de Luna Freire, the aim of the meeting is to bring together audiovisual preservation professionals from the BRICS countries to discuss shared challenges and develop future partnerships.</p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On the first day, Panel 1 was made up of Oleg Bochkov (Gosfilmofond of Russia) and Joseph Dlamini (South African National Film, Video, and Sound Archives). The panel was chaired by Carlos Roberto de Souza, member of the Brazilian Association of Audiovisual Preservation (ABPA).</p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Held in the afternoon of the first day, Panel 2 was made up of Prakash Magdum (National Film Archive of India), Zuo Ying (China Film Archive), and Olga Futemma (Brazilian Film Archive). Carlos Roberto de Souza also chaired this panel.</p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On 1 October, Panel 3 was made up of Shi Chuan (Shanghai Theatre Academy, China) and Ashish Rajadhyaksha (Centre for the Study of Culture and Society, India). And Panel 4 was made up of Martin Botha (University of Cape Town, South Africa) and Peter Bagrov (George Eastman Museum, United States). Both panels were chaired by Hernani Heffner, from the Museum of Modern Art Film Archive &#8211; Rio de Janeiro.</p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Meeting is directed at anyone interested in the history, memory, and safeguarding of audiovisual productions.
