In the midst of chaos, if you go to Budhwar Peth, Pune, you will find a house surrounded by trees, birds, cats, dogs and lots and lots of books. In it, resides Hema Sane, a retired botany professor and an established author. In this documentary, she shares a slice of her life with us talking about her philosophy, her love for plants and animals, her choice to live independently, and of course, her decision to not have used electricity ever in her life! A documentary on a strong woman who stood by her principles and which is sprinkled with doses of humour and wisdom.
