On Thursday, 3 October, the workshop “Audiovisual relations among the BRICS nations: past, present and future” brought students, professors, and film lovers to Reserva Cultural, Niterói, starting at 9:30 am. In a unique immersion experience, Prof. Stephanie Dennison and Prof. Chris Homewood, from the University of Leeds (UK), offered thought-provoking lectures and debates.
The purpose of the workshop was to present an exploration of the audiovisual contact zones of BRICS film cultures, discussing future directions for cultural exchange among BRICS film industries.
